Sunny Hunny is a South African born plant-based vegan honey spread made from apples and organic raw sugar. While it looks, tastes, and feels like honey, it’s not. It’s an entirely bee-friendly and environmentally-conscious brand—the ultimate honey replacement.

PACKAGING DESIGN CONCEPT & EXECUTION

As a socially and environmentally responsible brand, CreatingAStorm wanted to use packaging that could be reused. Luckily, Sunny Hunny loved this idea, and together we chose sweet little glass jars. These are designed to be refilled or repurposed. 

And while most honey brand labels stick to neutral colours reminiscent of honey bees or a hive, Sunny Hunny uses vibrant, neon-like colours that will stand out on the shelf. This is paired with bold, easy to read typography that clearly communicates what the product is.

The design is kissed off with an illustration honey jar in the shape of an apple—simple and effective.
