Sledgehammer Gnome is an original work of fiction that I am still in the process of creating. The first part of this project is a bestiary/encyclopaedia called the 'Sledgendarium'. This portfolio entry displays a small sample of the overall far larger project.

Overall Sledgehammer Gnome started as a way for me to put my own twist on various well-known fantasy themes and elements.

The central race are of course the Gnomes, with the main character being an individual Gnome who takes up the legendary mantle of Sledgehammer Gnome.

The map below shows Slaeg, the world in which Sledgehammer Gnome takes place, dominated by one huge supercontinent, the Gnomes themselves inhabit a small region known as the 'Peininsula'.
