KYIV SMART CITY HUB
Kyiv Smart City Hub - is a unique space, Ukraine's first hub, built through crowdfunding - any person,who was interested in the development of "smart" Urban Technologies in Kiev and anyone with the desire to use on favorable terms this place, could donate a feasible amount for the creation of hub in pavilion 5 of National Expo Center and watch its implementation during 4 months on the social networks.
The primary aim of the project was to design a multifunctional space that includes: a lecture hall for 50 people, a briefing room for 12 people, co-working for 32 people, a kitchen and sitting area.... Also we should consider that the hub regularly receives foreign guests. And all this functions are concentrated on 180 m2. Therefore, to increase the amount of usable space it was decided to dismantle the ceilings, open truss ceiling and arrange with the help of mezzanine false floor with the area of 90 m2.
