NOBODY PUTS BABY IN THE CORNER
Like my drawing of the Cheshire Cat, this project is one that belongs to what I call my "silhouette" style, in which I draw the main figures in solid black and do a high-contrast colored background behind them so that the art is intriguing and not immediately obvious as to what it depicts. This one is the silhouette of the well-known scene from the famous 1980s film, Dirty Dancing, in which Baby crawls across the dance floor to Johnny Castle and it was done for a person I know who is crazy about the movie. I sent it to her "across the pond" to the UK after framing it. The concept and original film scene that I recreated into a drawing belongs to and is the copyright of Vestron Pictures.
