About
Te Kōhanga Reo National Trust and Powershop are working together to give a better power deal and a chance to switch to a better power company for Whānau cardholders member.

Concept
The Powershop team approached us because they needed to develop a system of communication pieces aimed at the TKR community, where they offer discounts on energy and products specially created for Whānau cardholders.

They wanted more Whānau cardholders to know about their offer; a new TKR campaign was needed to achieve its intent. We develop a new identity that reflects the union between Te Kōhanga Reo National Trust and Powershop through a direct and straightforward symbol. We have chosen the 'plus sign' because it perfectly synthesizes what we want to communicate through this campaign. We wanted to express the idea of connection and alliance, and we found that the 'plus sign' positively connotes all these emotions.

To get to the creation of this symbol, we have worked with the pictorial mark of Powershop along with the full range of colourful palette that Powershop has within its visual identity. The 'plus sign' is intertwined to emphasize even more strongly the union and commitment between the parties, reflecting the synergy between TKR and Powershop. The result is a new identity endowed with a friendly and eye-catching character through a clear concept.
