The main idea was to make a form formless, to make a bench look like curvy streams of lines. End of every spline fading into the dark. Oak splines random colored follows the same aim - to ruin the perception of holistic form.
At the same time, it's not an artwork, it's a fully functional form that combines a three scenario of usage: bench, lounge chair, daybed.
