While working with vector graphics in adobe illustrator I got intrigued by the intricate details of the bezier handles and anchor points of these vector objects. When all the anchor points are selected together they appear to give a very ornate look to the otherwise simple, smooth curves and straight lines. I wanted to capture this transient uniqueness in the otherwise mundane lines and curves and make something similar and lasting.

The result was a set of glyphs to create the letters of an alphabet and the numerals. I made smaller parts which can be repeated and rotated. The modules can be combined to create each letter of the alphabet and the digits. These defined number of modules constrained the glyphs to stay as part of a 'type family'. These letters and digits are more of an experiment to create something which is intricate and eccentric.
