Haeckels is a wild fragrance and skincare brand specialising in natural ingredients, hand-sourced near their coastal HQ in Margate, Kent. The brand takes creative cues from the apothecary aesthetic, seemingly inspired by Aesop & Le Labo, where amber glassware and industrial labelling are a minimilistic mainstay.

They have a beautiful philosophy underpinned by community, traceability, and transparency and I wanted to explore a conceptual product that honored this spirit, focussing primarily on health and the therapeutic properties found in nature. Not only to sit alongside their current line of products but to work in harmony when used together. The premise that self-care starts from within. 

I created a subtle design language around the product that was considerate to the existing identity but would help distinguish a topical & ingestible catalog. For this, I went back to the literal ‘root’ of the brand for inspiration.
