We had to find a visual language for the whole conference, which was all about editorial design this time, and later on we worked on the exhibition and the event itself.

During a workshop at FH Dortmund my group, which consisted of students from Dortmund and Cologne, developed a headline for the conference and it was later picked as the final “rooftop” of 33pt: »SHOW HIDDEN CHARACTERS«. To draw more attention to the creatives behind all the exhibited magazines.

I started with a draft including handwriting and sketches to show the analogue design process. We decided on a grid based, more bold design and developed it further.
