In August-October 2019 the Instituto Sacatar in Itaparica (Brazil) organised it's first ecological artists residency, where 6 artists worked - individually, collectively and in cooperation with the community of Itaparica  - on ecological topics. Resulting in the Festival Quatros Elementos. I was one of the six artists and during this residency I made these 6 video's.

Participating artists: Matheus Buranelli (Brazil), Maja Klaric (Croatia), Tre Lawrence (US), Cristiane Mohallem (Brazil), Mandy Morrisson (US) and Margriet Westerhof (Netherlands). The Festival Quatros Elementos was a collaboration between: Instituto Sacatar, the staff of Sacatar, the 6 artists in residence, Raimundo Coelho and a lot of other people who performed, showed their work, cooked, assisted, made music, danced or participated in the audience.

4. Building Bridges (Sacatar 2019)
During my ecological session at the Instituto Sacatar (Aug-Oct 2019) I made this film as a result of a workshop I gave with Matheus Buranelli (Salvador, Brazil) at the Escola Criança Feliz in Itaparica.
The workshop was inspired by the 12 km bridge they plan to build, between Salvador and Itaparica.

6. Sacatar, introduction of the Artists of the Eco Session 2019
This video was shot during the first week in Sacatar, to introduce the Eco Session and the participating artists. It was shown in the Library in Itaparica.
