Body shaming is a common problem that has been a part of our society for many years. We mock people on being over-weight or underweight. All this makes them believe they aren’t perfect. For me the reason we believe that someone is not perfect is because we have a false image of a perfect body in our minds all due to cartoons, barbie dolls and action figures. As “to see is to believe” therefore we believe those fake body types to be the epitome of perfection. Therefore, I have used superheroes to portray what reality looks like and to let people know that no matter what their body type is they can still do wonders and be their own superhero.
