Multi-Family Home in Urban Environment
// Proposal Description //
Situated in the middle of Poblenou, Barcelona, this project aims to create a feeling of rural living in an otherwise dense urban landscape; Two private homes sit on top of an elevated topography, allowing for a large work-space at ground level in addition to connecting the domestic “islands” to each other without directly linking overground. In turn this opens up a large green space between the buildings,
A group of angled roofs protrude from the emulated topography, featuring large openings that invite sunlight to enter all the spaces, including the ones situated underground through multiple patios.
