Watercolor Botanical Illustrations for Liquor Labels
The task was to create botanical illustrations for the labels of high quality handmade liquors. The customer wanted to capture the taste, fragrance and the finest details of the plants. The shape and layout of the labels were ready, so my task was to paint the branch, which would perfectly fit in.
Two tastes were chosen: walnut and silver fir. Both plants had to be exactly as they grow in this region. Silver fir was quite interesting, as it's needles are light blue colour, almost white on one side and green on another.
