Wayfinding Letterkenny

Wayfinding Letterkenny
My proposal for way-finding was to develop a visually uniform system for my target audience to understand. My ambition was to drive users to areas that they found the most significant. The goal was to simplify the layout of Letterkenny's different locations for my target audience, consisting of tourists, shoppers, students, and travellers. Primary research was essential in underpinning the chosen design via on-street interviews with members of the public. I chose isometric projection as the primary way-finding system. With isometric projection, I could depict the town's landmarks as three-dimensional objects on a flat two-dimensional surface. This design would help users identify the areas and points of interest that mattered most to them.
