Stalingrad Virtual Training Products Video

The Stalingrad Virtual Training Products video explains how Soldiers can study the complexities of large-scale ground combat operations through a 1942 battlefield. Using documentaries, virtual staff rides, and VBS 3, Soldiers apply lessons learned in a multiplayer virtual training environment.
This trailer was commissioned by LTG Michael Lundy and directed by COL Katherine Guttormsen.
This video was developed through the efforts of multiple individuals and organizations as the result of a three day training experience. The three day training event was filmed, interviews were given and photographs taken. All the images, video and audio collected during the training event became the primary assets my team used to create this trailer.
As the lead film editor I organized the raw footage and helped develop the shot sequence for the trailer. I guided the arrangement and sequence of the imagery to ensure that we were conveying the desired message. I also created imagery in Photoshop for the closing scene. Much of the video editing and audio work was done by my coworker, Chago Zapata, who really helped pull this together.
