This project consist in a 2020 calendar with images inspired by the important current issues concerning climate change. However, it is not a work of documentation. The 12 images that month by month will make up the calendar are pictures of fantasy which are inspired by the realities that will face us and our planet if we do not change the path of destruction that we are presently on.
Every picture in the calendar is obtained through a process of a photomontage of many
diverse images and this post production work gives the final image its new meaning. In order to achieve this result I have had to sift through thousands of photo banks, and then subject the chosen images to a delicate process of recomposition and retouching.
My enormous thanks for the precious collaboration of Anna Bottesi who created the 12 short, inspirational and evocative texts, and to Giulia Montovani (Giuma Visualdesign) for her beautiful graphic project.
