These drawings are part of an ongoing series that I am working on. Minimalistic in nature, this body of work is about mark-making, process, and systems. Image-making is somewhat of an afterthought with this work. Creating and executing differing, yet similar visual hypotheses is what I'm truly interested in. For instance, what happens if I create such and such mark in such and such manner over a set period of time or until the system comes to a logical solution? I love waiting to find out what will happen when I work within strict, yet unknowable systems. There is a constant sense of discovery.
