Every year MHD Group renews "The Distillers Edition" cross collection through the introduction of unique "Classic Malts". In 2019, Caol Ila, Lagavulin and Talisker distilleries joined the selection. LINEA signed the design of the packaging for the launch. Although the three brands evolve in opposite words, the cases show a graphic unity. The packaging, processed with two materials, brings the collection within the category of Single Malts through generic characteristics on the lower part (elegant black colour and textured finish) while the upper part is made of a matt coated white film depicting the colours and decorations of each House. Each packaging opens from the front thanks to an elegant magnet flap. Theses boxes draw their original character from their opening. On the front side, an elegant magnet flap unveils partly the bottle, as a solicitation to discover the backstage of each distillery.

Le groupe MHD renouvelle chaque année sa collection transversale ‘The Distillers Edition’ en proposant des « Classic Malts » inédits. Pour 2019, ce sont les distilleries Caol Ila, Lagavulin et Talisker qui rejoignent la sélection. A l’occasion de ce lancement, LINEA signe le design des coffrets. Bien que les trois marques évoluent dans des univers aux antipodes, les coffrets affichent une unité graphique. Les packagings, traités en bi-matière, inscrivent la collection dans la catégorie des « Single Malts » par leurs attributs génériques sur leur partie basse (un élégant noir teinté dans la masse et des finitions texturées) ; tandis que sur leur partie haute, ils s’habillent d’un couché blanc pelliculé mat aux couleurs et décors de chaque Maison. Ces coffrets puisent leur originalité dans leur ouverture. Sur leur face avant, un élégant volet aimanté dévoile partiellement le flacon, telle une invitation à découvrir les coulisses de chaque distillerie.
