Idea: Give empty Fair & Lovely sachets a new life by turning them into recycled currency. Create a self-sustaining ecosystem with empty Fair & Lovely sachets.
How it works: People will be able to exchange it different goods and services. These goods will be made using recycled plastic from the sachets by the villagers.
The value of each sachet will be 1 Rupee.
In India usually cash gifts are given in amounts ending with 1 (Rs 101, Rs 501 and so on). The additional 1 Rupee shagun is considered as the blessing/ prayers and wishes while the balance round figure is the gift amount.
Translation: One rupee shagun, for a better future.
