    For many years, StevenFurtick.com was a daily blog from Pastor Steven Furtick. As the model for this site began to move away from daily first-person entries, we decided to simultaneously shift the character of the web presence to echo that change. We sought to create a content-rich feed that brought together multiple sources of inspiration for users. Early in the design process, I sought to breach the typical header-navigation-feature-etc layout that was so common among not only many of our existing properties, but across the web. In my research process I discovered a plugin called Isotope that was just what we were looking for. We ended up with a (practically) never-ending feed of video posts, sermon clips, creative elements, tweets, Instagram, and book quotes that, along with a new social media strategy, pushed the expectations of a "pastor's blog" to new limits.
