The task of this project was to create an office for the Kovalska company. Kovalska Group is a leader of production of high-quality concrete and reinforced concrete products at the Ukrainian market.
A distinctive feature of the interior of this office is the atrium, where employees can not only work, but also relax during the routine. Also, this area can be a communication center for visitors and personnel. In addition, there is an exposition, which attracts guests and customers. Moreover, the atrium house has an amphitheater, which is the venue for various exhibitions and installations. As well it is a place of changing the scenario of a routine and painstaking office for a party on a Friday night.)
The main distinction of this project was considered at hinged facade systems of lightweight concrete, presented in the assortment of the customer’s production. Due to the fact that the Kovalska company presents a uniform material like clay in architect`s hands, we had great opportunities in shaping this project. As a result, it discovered concrete as an absolutely various building material, and a classic and stern form of the building has got a fresh and modern look.
We decided to continue the “concrete” theme and developed several options for facades using this material, each of which added a feature to a minimalistic but functional box.
