The Slovenian avant-garde poet Tomaž Šalamun, who died in 2014, was known for his experiments in surrealism, polyphony, and absurdism. This series published by Black Ocean is the first posthumous collection of the poet’s work.

All three covers adhere to a system I designed, which can be extended indefinitely if additional books are added to the series. I also created a custom font for this project, which I used to give the author’s name, the book titles, and the excerpts on the back of each book a strong and unique typographic voice.
