The original concept was designed to incorporate images of retro-inspired interior design themes. The images all correspond with each other for the personal aesthetic of the brand. To make the poster more modern I used Adobe Illustrator to create a geometric design to be used in the background and will frame the images and text.

In the second design I used a background colour to create a warm feel. After printing the poster it was very unclear and the geometric lines were almost invisible. The text was lost and the overall poster was not up to standard.

After consulting with the class, I immediately changed the background colour to suit the print of the poster, making it easier to read and also so the geometric pattern is legible. I rearranged the images to create a hero image to focus on the design and capitalised the text to create a professional standard.

After further developing the original style of work, I have remodelled the entire design of the poster. The new aesthetic shows my own personal flare to the poster as I am now more confident in what I have created. The first image shows the bleed and guides and the second is the final finished poster design.
