I did not get any fog and full autumnal colours when visiting this amazing rock formation in 2018. This year however I managed to find a day with nearly perfect conditions and the beautiful fall mood still intact. 

Hiking up the nearest hill I was also presented with the stunning view of something like a cloud inversion that covered most of the sorrounding Valleys of the Teutoburger Forrest, letting only the peaks of the hills pierce through the low cloud and fog.
