Capu capu forest kindergarten started in Ome,Tokyo in 2017. Every weekday, parents and infants from the age of 0 and up have been going out to various natural places in Ome. The logo was awarded as IRON at A'DESIGN AWARD 2022.
「かぷかぷ山のようちえん」は自然豊かな東京の青梅を中心に0歳から親子で、自然の中の体験を重ねる穏やかな場づくりをしているNPOです。こちらのロゴはイタリアの国際的なデザインコンペティションであるA'DESIGN AWWARDにてIRON賞を受賞いたしました。
The name of this kindergarten was inspired by a passage in the novel Yamanashi by Kenji Miyazawa, a famous Japanese novelist. It is a fantastic and mysterious story about small crabs, the customer wanted to use a frog as the motif. I wanted to keep the shape as simple as possible to leave room for creativity, so I used a paper cutout-like form.
「クラムボンはかぷかぷわらったよ」という宮沢賢治のやまなしという作品から幼稚園の名前を決められたそうです。カエルをモチーフにしたいというリクエストからロゴはカエルを中心に考えました。単純で創造の余地を残すような雰囲気にしたいと思い、切り紙的な表現にしました。
I wanted to create a solid and simple feeling, so I used Risograph for printing. Since we had a limited budget, we used rough paper, which is commonly used in schools in Japan.
ロゴとチラシを作りました。チラシはリソグラフを採用し、かすれやズレがあえて出るような印刷を選びました。予算も限られていたので、素朴な雰囲気があるわらばんし を採用しました。
