“Dotex is a GPS guiding system inbuilt into the white cane that the blind community use to move around. Dotex is designed to provide with her user a continuous flow of information needed within the transportation system. Incoming train time, location of lifts / gantries, handicap access are some of the many information that will be fed through braille on Dotex or an external audio feed. This in turn gives the user more confidence, information necessary to ensure a smooth journey everyday.”
Product Objective:
To aid the visually challenged individuals to navigate and orientate within the environment of the Mrt cabins and buses confidently, independent without the need for social aid.
