After the earthquake of february 27 in the central zone of Chile, it was very sad to see great old houses fall down and disappear forever. I decided to concentrate on just one manor house in the small town of San Rafael to rescue the past greatness of such places and put a reminder on how frail we all are. Read Less

Este es mi intento por rescatar la dignidad del pasado. Lo hermoso, frágil y delicado dentro de lo trágico. Los fantasmas de nuestra historia, que a pesar de las placas tectónicas y las caídas de los muros, siguen intactos en la memoria y reviven en estas imágenes de una antigua casa patronal cerca de Talca, en la zona central de Chile.

This is my attempt to rescue the dignity of the past. The beauty, delicate and frail within the tragic. The ghosts of our history that despite the tectonic plates and the falling walls, are still intact in our memory and come back to life in these images of an old manor house near the town of Talca, central Chile.
