DIMAD and Madrid City Council, supported by the Business Forum for Madrid, called on all graphic designers to take part in the poster exhibition of MadridGráfica19 with the motto Sustainable Cities.
I loved the idea to participate and here you can find my final piece.
The concept of car free cities or a city with large pederastia areas is often part of the design of a sustainable city. I decided to design the poster for around that concept. A large part of the carbon footprint of a city is generated by cars so the car free concept is often considered an integral part of the design of a sustainable city.
The design is about a young woman talking to a cat.
She is worried because her car is not working anymore. The cat is happy because of the car is broken she should take public transport to get to work.
There are some super easy things we can adopt into our routines to get part of a sustainable city.
