So I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons.  And maybe we'll never know most of them.

Where we're standing now, in the ruins, in the dark, what we build could be anything.
We can spend our lives letting our past decide our future, or we can decide for ourselves. And maybe it's our job to invent something better.
Who are we, but the stories we tell ourselves, about ourselves, and believe.
We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that death will tremble to take us.
