Pure is the future for keeping fit and healthy with meat prices on the rise. It is predicted that in 50 years meat will become harder to farm and much higher to purchase due to population increase. Pure, is everything you need to keep fit and healthy as a substitute to meat. They contain insects full of rich flavour and protein. Insects have great nutrition and reduce pollution with less greenhouse gases to farm when compared to other sources. On average, they can convert 2 kilograms (4.4 pounds) of feed into 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) of insect mass. In comparison, cattle require 8 kilograms (17.6 pounds) of feed to produce a kilo of meat. The range is aimed at gyms and fitness groups but could widely be made available to supermarket chains in the near future. The packaging is minimalistic, focusing on the great reasons for eating insects. This includes protein shakes, protein bars and protein bites. entomophagy is the consumption of eating insects as food. The point of sale is back-lit and allows easy access and promotion for the brand. Final Major Project - The Arts University Bournemouth 2013
