OCEAN ROOTS SURFCLUB
Ocean Roots is both a surf school and a surf club rewarded many times in national and international competitions. They built up a reputation of indisputable seriousness and credibility by claiming a real way of life. Since 2003 Ocean Roots establish results and investments to raise the world of surfing and especially bodyboarding.
Already fitted with a strong identity, we help them to refind it formally. We set up a modular and straightforward visual language, mainly based on typography and sharp photography. The main idea is to navigate the website as you navigate through a newspaper — a layout built with big headlines in expressive sans-serif, content using an editorial serif typeface, and concrete photography.
