Walls and Crates
One of my first shots in Belgium, where I spent half a year as an exchange student couple years ago. Perks of living in an old house was that you get to see some deserted depressive stuff like this left somewhere, which were so old (and dirty) that probably no one touched it for years. Always in sight but like forgotten. How amazing is that? I like this feeling and actually tried to capture it in my photos as you can see. This one achieves it in a creepy and a cool way I think.

Kortrijk
My favourite shot so far, I think, and quite personal as well. I walked my favourite person to home with a lovely-deep talk, after a long party which I didn't attend and then just our walk was about to end I realised the sky was lovely and it was about to get better. Probably 5 in the morning, because birds had just started to sing, I went back my place quickly, got my stuff, took my bike and rode to Buda Beach. I just felt like going there, and then this lovely pic happened. I remember exactly how I was feeling, and how was the weather, how it smell and everything. Just so many things stuffed into this one.

Sophie Day
Took this one on a cloudy (well, normal for Belgium) day on the end of June. My Erasmus friends are going one by one, and I have nothing else to do other than shooting something to clear my mind. The Getaway album of Red Hot Chili Peppers was playing, and I was biking to somewhere I don't know. Took this one, named it Sophie Day after bff. Photos with stories are nice, right?

Sophie Day 2
Another shot from the same day, with the beautiful and unending clouds of Belgium, continued to invade my pictures.

Cathédrale de la Major
What is this picture anyway? I don't know it too. Went to this beautiful cathedral in Marseille, when I took an interrail trip, and saw good artworks and sculptures. And then, there was this red chair, don't know why it was there. But it was there. And good light was there. And my camera was there. Simple as that.
Red Night
Red red night, on a cemetery. We had a homework, which we decided not to do at home. Took our cameras, me and Mexican buddy David, and went to the cemetery at night. Because why not, it's Erasmus right? I had a tripod and a remote clicker, so we ended up making long exposure writings like "up yours blablabla". And when it got really dark, we tried to shoot the stars, but city light didn't let us properly. But they were kind enough to give our photos some nice reddish touches. That's so kind of them. Thank you so much. Now please go away.

Malmö
I visited a friend in Copanhagen in 2016. Can't say I enjoyed it much there, probably due to dark and depressing weather. But while I was there, we got a chance to visit Sweden, to Lund and Malmö through Øresund. I personally liked the city much more, compared to Copenhagen. We took a quick tour, don't know why but also went to the cemeteries and stood in awe realizing how long the Scandinavians live. Maybe it's quite visible here in the portfolio as well, but I have a thing for brick buildings, so watching these nice apartments in one line when the sun was about to go down was maybe the highlight of my day.

Florence, in Morning
At the end of my Erasmus, I decided to take a long way. Why fly to home when you can spend your hours on peaceful train trips and seeing a couple new cities on the way back? So I took an interrail ticket and wow, I was in Italy. (okay not that easy and not that cheap but hey we're talking photos here!) Milan was good, Rome was meh but man Florence was something amazing. Immediately fell in love with it and decided I'd be furious at myself if I don't make a good picture of it. I mean, taking a picture of Florence like this was actually one of my reasons to go to Italy. (#soyoungandsofree) So just a day before I left, I woke up at 3 in the morning, got my gear up and went up, up, up in the Piazza Michelangelo. Sat there, prepared my things. And started shooting. It was 4:30ish something and sun was about to say "hi y'all people". Neil Young was singing, a day was about to happen. What a night it was. Or morning. Or day.
Alone in the Park
I was in Ankara in 2014. Always thought it's kind of alone city. Then after I left some museum started to walk in the park and saw this fella sitting alone, looking at his phone. Probably took this with my phone as far as I remember.

Çıralı, The Beach
I was in Çıralı, Antalya in 2014. One of the lovliest beaches I have seen. Sea, the sands, a green and glorious mountain in the back and a family of chairs watching them peacefully. Just simple as that.

Ordu
I always loved colorful pictures and rarely shot in B&W. But I liked this one, I took in Ordu in a different way. It was the year after I got my oldie Nikon D90, and I was trying to solve how to use it (took me long time, actually still is) and I was luck enough to go on a small trip to the Black Sea region. This one was taken on a lift to the mountain top. Maybe there were no good colors to show in this one, so I made it B&W, can't remember really.

I don't take many photos these days, but back in the day I was inseperable with my camera. Here are some photos from those times.
