Prince George’s County Bar Association Sponsors Driving Course
An accomplished personal injury attorney, Rick Jaklitsch is the owner of the Jaklitsch Law Group, which he founded in 1991. A previous recipient of the Trial Lawyers Board of Regents Litigator Award for Personal Injury, Rick Jaklitsch is a member of the Prince George’s County Bar Association in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
An association of local attorneys, public officials, and members of the court, the Prince George’s County Bar Association sponsors a defensive driving program that was developed and approved by the National Safety Council. Consisting of a pair of 3-hour classes, the course aims to teach drivers how to avoid vehicle collisions and practice safe driving habits.
All of the instructors teaching the Prince George County defensive driver program possess certification from the National Safety Council and have experience investigating varying types of motor vehicle crashes. Throughout the course, participants study training videos and case studies with interactive exercises. They also go over specific defensive driving strategies for different situations and learn how various physical and mental conditions can impact one’s ability to drive safely.
