Llegaron las Vickys was a TV commercial to signal the arrival of Cerveza Victoria in the North of Mexico. Victoria aimed to be one of the most popular beers in northern Mexico, specifically in the cities of Tijuana, Mexicali, Chihuahua, Ciudad Juarez, Hermosillo and Monterrey.We produced a commercial that represented cultural aspects of each city, establishing a connection between Victoria and northern Mexico. The video was released on television and all social media.
The story begins with a Victoria branded truck traveling up through the desert from the south of Mexico. A textured
grunge style of illustration was utilized to highlight the distress and heat of traveling through the harsh desert.
Using different camera angles at different distances allowed us to show the scale of traveling through the desert.
The commercial was broken down in to 10 second lead ads specific to the region that they would be played in.
