Tailgate Talent show is a variety program presented by Eastlink Community TV that shines the spotlight on several small towns throughout Southern Ontario, celebrating the best talent each town has to offer.
When my team and I first started production on the show, we had a concept with many ideas, but didn’t have a clear picture of how to implement them. Allowing ourselves to be spontaneous is what gave us the creative freedom to really play around with the tone, content, and format, which led to a lot of fun and unique moments and made the show stand out.
After producing three seasons of the show, it's rewarding to look back on how the show has progressed, seeing how we've been able to maintain the creative flexibility that made the first season a fun and special project to put together.
