Camp Ville Marie

Interior Design

Sid Lee Montreal was scheduled to move in early 2019. But as it often happens, things didn’t go as planned. Just a few months before our previous lease was up, we found out our 500 employees would soon be office-less… unless we acted quickly.

So we climbed the highest tower in Montreal, Place Ville Marie, and transformed the 15th and 21st floors into an urban workspace that felt anything but temporary. We called it: Camp Ville Marie.

We customized the building’s four quadrants to create The Village, The River, The Mountain, and The Woods, each inspired by the city and its surrounding landscapes – the Downtown core, the Saint-Lawrence River, our beloved Mount Royal, and Montreal’s many green spaces. The result is a clever indoor-outdoor twist that reinvents camping as we know it.
