Ephemeral
It is interesting to see all the different appropriations of like-materials; especially all in one place. With this Goldsworthy-inspired ephemeral work I attempt to challenge the general meanings and perceptions of the seemingly mundane. I am building this representation by reappropriating a different form of this medium as another type of form using the same compound. What is a wall, or a border for that matter if it is made out a different type of the same material? Is it still a wall -- or something else all together? The new meaning this form takes on is obscure yet related in an way that isn't necessarily tangible, but connected by the root of their design.
