An adaptation of the famous opera Aida: AIDA 2.0 takes place in a near future setting where mankind becomes thoroughly segregated and enslaved to technology under the illusion of better communication. As everything went behind screens, we became alone together: isolated in a cyber-realistic imitation of the real world, free from any genuine human interaction.

The qualities of the digital age inspired the stage as a designed object: dynamic, fast paced, adaptable, and expandable. All mechanical transformations and set transitions were left visible to the audience to reflect the physical footprint all digital forms have, contrasting the intangibility of the digital world with the physicality of its existence.
