Nowadays it has become an everyday experience to receive unwanted SMS messages, advertising things people even don't care about. It is widely-known that reading this messages besides other effects is a total loss of time. Time which can be spent doing something worthy. To cope with that, I developed the "SMS Filter" application. This simple, but powerful application monitors your incoming SMS messages and filters out those coming from senders which are put in the blacklist. Furthermore this is handled without the user ever need to be notified or disturbed. Silent and effective. Of course, one can choose to log these messages and check them from time to time.
Shortly after being published on Android Market, "SMS Filter" application showed that people really appreciate what it does and the way it does it. It reached 1000 downloads for a week, average rating 4.5 stars out of 5. Now, 2 months after initial publishing it has nearly 7000 downloads.
