The presence as it is can be identified as reference to what is happening here and now. No more than that, as we cannot stay for ever at one and the same moment. The very instant we find ourselves to be precisely here and now is also to be the instant when time starts delaminating into the past and the anticipatio — presentiment, — of the future. Therefore the presence for us both as a festival and a term is applicable to the relevant identification of the world, its basics and its processes nowadays, everything that is always connected to the past but is also embraced by the future.
