We've made this catalogue for the ambitious young startup KOLATCH® who are trying to establish their fresh non-baked product – a cake – on to the market.

The purpose of the catalogue was to be at hand for the sellers meeting with their B2B partners. The client approached us with a nicely done design manual. The stunning product photographs with props, courtesy of Cukru, made for more than half of the catalogue's success.

Our work began with an extensive interview which was necessary for writing the copy suited precisely for the needs of the situation: the seller meeting with the B2B partner.

After necessary revisions of the copy with the client, we started working on the layout of the catalogue. The client supplied the gorgeous photographs of their products. Hence, we decided to show as much of them as possible. Half of the double spreads, therefore, utilise one of the photographs which also dictates it's colour palette.
Since the brand guidelines did not contain any information about packaging, photographs, patterns or illustrations, we have synthesised all of the visual elements from the existing product packaging. We added some icons; some already existed, so we repurposed them. The goal was to adhere to as much of the established principles, from the branding guidelines, as possible while adding the missing ones seamlessly.
