Systems Design 

1. Introduction to Purdilnagar craft cluster
Purdilnagar is a small village in the Hathras district of state Uttar Pradesh in India. The village is known for its craft of Glass bead and bangle making. Almost 80% of the village population is engaged in this craft at various levels of craft making. But since past 15 years, the number of artisans engaged with the craft have reduced at greater amounts due to less demand in the export sector.

Need: To create a self sustained craft community which is able to operate independently from the export market demand
To create visibility and identity for Purdilnagar craft of glass beads and bangles. The project intend to link Purdilnagar artisans directly to the National or local market of beads and bead products.
