The main aim of this project was to produce a realistic still life painting based on a photo reference. The first phase of the project involved developing different photo references and selecting the best reference image, which I then traced onto the canvas. The second phase of the project involved developing an understanding of mixing colour and matching it as accurately as possible to the actual image, after which I produced the final painting.
