Rajputana Seal
Monkeys around Lord Hanuman
Over a millenium old courtyard standing strong with hardly any maintenance
Pond formed as a result of stones being excavated to build the fort
And far away in that forests lives all the wildlife
Would ou believe if someone told you that a horse climbed this vertical wall
Supposedly the imprints of horse hoofs on this wall
These small structures on the ground are prayer stones made by the locals to fulfil their wishes
Ranthambore Tiger Reserve from the fort
A forest guard resting during his patrol
A newly born owlet
Green Bee-eater, always buzzing around
A peacock in all its glory
Clearly needs a comb
One of my favourite bird, A Paradise Flycatcher
A white breasted Kingfisher
Even Painted Storks were here this time around
A hazy summer morning at Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
A couple of woodpeckers just after fighting off a lizard
Pond Heron flying away
A Cormorant drying its wings after a dive into the lake
Indian Darter
A Heron with its catch
Its clearly showing it off
The prey, a female Sambar Deer
Another prey, a male Spotted Deer
Ferocious prey, a family of Wild Boars
Crocodile Tears?
Here comes the Apex predator, a tigress named Unnis (Nineteen)
Such a majestic animal these tigers are
Walk with your tails up as if you own the world
Just to make it clear, leave scent marks to declare it as your own territory
I just love their colors when sunlight falls on them. What a beauiful coat. Sadly they are killed for this coat only!!
Her sister Satra(Seventeen) has supposedly been killed a month back
She doesn't care though. She has captured her sister's territory already
Perfect camouflage for tigers. No wonder this grass is also called 'Tiger Grass'
Dark clouds hovering over the long term survival of tigers? Sadly, YES
