This particular beer was brewed as a part of Off the grid - special edition series, which was introduced in early 2017. The project is still active with new beers being constantly added to extend the list. The main challenge here is to keep every label unique and to make every bottle a potential collectible item. That's why we wanted to create a series, which is visually completely separated from the regular, year-round beers, but still recognizable as a part of the Off the grid series. That's why we also created a special logo which is printed on every Off the grid label and other materials such as posters, coasters, T-shirts, ... Every beer comes in a small, 20 l, limited edition batch and is brewed only once.
The labels are then printed and stuck to the bottles by hand. Pipeline Brewery is a 100% DIY project and we always do as much as we can by ourselves. This also means reducing the production costs to the bare minimum (except for when we use funky foils and non-ink-jet-digestible materials).
We plan to make some further design upgrades in the near future, such as cardboard tubes and bottle holders for our beers.
