Our assignment was to create a promotional package and insert for any company under the Quicksilver line. I chose to package a Roxy bathing suit. I photographed the model and wrote all of the copy.
I tied my package and insert to a Roxy Initiative that supports environmental education in Hawaii. Keeping this idea, I packaged the swimsuit in a water bottle to enhance the idea of sustainable practices. This allows the package to live a second life, allowing the customer to eliminate waste by using the water bottle.
THIS IS A PROTOTYPE. Essentially, if Roxy were to adopt this idea they would create their own water bottle that would have a mouth wide enough for the customer to pull out the suit and try it on in a store, then put it back in. The current water bottle does not have a mouth wide enough so I used a Dremel Rotary Tool to cut out a bottom opening to insert the bathing suit.
