BARISTA WITHOUT TWO HAND, CAN MAKE A CUP OF COFFEE

Barista Tuna Daksa, able to serve special coffee. Eko Sugeng (33), became a coffee-serving barista even though his hands were amputated, he became a barista in a cupable coffee located on Jl. Kaliurang Km 14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta. Eko was born with perfect conditions but at one time he had an accident that is an accident that resulted in both his hands had to be amputated. Mr. Sugeng said "At that time I was hit by an electric shock and after the post amputation made me very sad and down, I even thought of ending my life". Eko claimed to have a dream with 7 of his friends Barista Inclusi who received the first training to open a coffee café. They formed an association with the name Setara. "In the future we have our own coffee shop, and we manage it ourselves,".

I was inspired because , Barista was not an easy job. When concocting coffee, a barista must associate various sciences. Such knowledge, such as mathematics. This knowledge must be mastered by baristas when they want to make a cup of coffee whether cold or hot. Bitter or maybe very sweet. All requires calculation. that the profession must understand a lot of science. Not just the science of making coffee,

he said. "All knowledge combined with mathematical science. In a cup of delicious coffee, such as Americano or Espresso, can use all of the knowledge. How much coffee beans are used to be part of mathematics. Making that uses a little taste is an art. Good or not for consumption is nutrition. And , psychology is there when a conversation occurs between the maker and the audience. "Philosophy, coffee always brings a warm atmosphere in meetings. And this cupable caffe meets Sugeng eco with many consumers both with disabilities or not.

Being a barista without both hands makes Eko Sugeng inspire many others including me. with his shortcomings he can interact with other people. I am reminded of Mr. Eco's statement that Mr. Eco said his hope was that this cupable café could be a space for people with disabilities and non-disabilities to interact and establish good social relationships while enjoying a cup of coffee.
