Two themes explored in the movie Primer are repetition and chaos. These themes are visually and typographically represented in the packaging. The DVD plastic case design shows repetition, the slipcover shows chaos, and the geometric pattern throughout the informational booklet starts out ordered and devolves into chaos as the booklet progresses.
