Gringas Mexican-Inspired Food Truck in Mangawhai
Sharing a passion for cooking (and eating!), Deena and Maggie started Gringas. Gringas is a Mexican-inspired food truck located in Mangawhai, Northland. They started with an idea, bought a food truck, formulated a menu and look at them now! Deena and Maggie approached me initially to work on their logo. The brief I was given was this: “We want a sugar skull, with flowers”, wide open to let my creativity flourish. My Mum is from So-Cal and a lot of her style is influenced by Mexican interior and lifestyle. I knew immediately that Gringas needed to be bright and colourful. I started with the logo and from there, the truck needed graphics, print material was needed and then a website. A second truck has now been opened and I continue to work with Deena and Maggie for all their design needs.
