TEDI (Illustration & Editorial)
Desde 1989, TEDI es una institución dedicada a la formación de personas con síndrome de Down para lograr su autonomía e integración a la sociedad.
Fuimos comisionados para diseñar su primer material didáctico impreso, una guía para la enseñanza de matemáticas para niños y adolescentes dirigida a maestros de habla hispana.
La selección de acabados resistentes y funcionales se hizo en función del uso constante que se le dará al libro diariamente en el salón de clases, y en cuanto a su diseño editorial se optó por una retícula y estilos tipográficos sencillos, una paleta de color y folios para facilitar la navegación en grados y temas y una serie de ilustraciones que representa a personas con síndrome de Down en distintas edades y situaciones cotidianas.

Since 1998, TEDI has been an institution dedicated to the education of people with Down syndrome, helping them achieve autonomy and complete integration to society.
We were asked to design their first printed educational material, a teaching guide focused on mathematics for children and teenagers intended for their spanish speaking teachers.
Te choice of durable and functional materials were made taking into consideration the constant and everyday use of this book in the classroom, and as for the editorial design we went for a simple and effective fonts as grid systems, a simple and primary color palette to have an easy navigation throughout the different subjects and a series of illustrations showing people with Down syndrome of different ages in everyday situations.
